Spring is here! Time to put your scissor skills to the test and cut out some adorable spring animals!
Get ready to see a whole bunch of shapes! Squares, circles, and even more exciting ones like triangles, diamonds, hexagons, pentagons, and special shapes will be waiting for you.
I've created an engaging and user-friendly Shape Cutting Practice with Scissors Kindergarten – Spring Animals to help children develop their scissor skills while having fun!
Download, print, and get ready
Each page you turn will be bursting with these fun shapes, all ready to be transformed into your favorite spring friends!
Grab your scissors (with a grown-up nearby for safety) and carefully cut along the dotted lines. You'll find friendly faces peeking out of big and small shapes on some pages.
Ready for an even bigger challenge? Turn the page! Here, we're throwing a shape party! You'll see a mix of all shapes – squares, circles, triangles, diamonds, hexagons, pentagons, and special shapes! Each one has a different spring friend waiting for you.
Can you find the happy frog nestled in a diamond, the lucky ladybug with its spots hiding in a hexagon, the sleepy owlet with its big eyes tucked into a triangle, the cuddly lamb nestled in a pentagon, and the fluffy bunny peeking out of a circle!
Remember, cut slowly and carefully along the dotted lines. Some shapes might be trickier than others, but don't worry! If some shapes seem a little complex, you can try cutting along a straight line first and then snipping the corners. Stars and hearts might require a bit more practice.
Bonus Tip: Once you've finished cutting out all your spring friends, use them to create a fun collage! You can sort them by size, group them by type of animal, or even create a whole spring scene with big and small shapes together! Don't forget to be proud of your amazing cutting skills!
